Died and gone to heaven…

10 02 2012

Bauer Hockey just posted a video tour of JORDAN STAAL’S house…aka my dream house.

They must know that I just found a stray dog and named him GRONK. Or maybe it’s in honor of him making his TRIUMPHANT return tomorrow vs the Jets. Take your pick,I don’t care. All that matters is, HE’S BACK!!!

Joey the Jr Reporter is BACK!

29 01 2012

For those of you who aren’t aware, the Chicago Blackhawks employ six year old Joey the Jr. Reporter, aka the cutest kid in the world.  Usually he only interviews players on the ‘Hawks, but he was relieved of his duties for the weekend and was allowed to interview other players.  I can’t embed this video, so go ahead and visit the Blackhawks website at the link below and watch the magic happen.

New Favorite.

Brian. Boyle.

You stud, you!

When this happened in last weeks episode of 24/7 I think it took S & I at least 10 minutes to stop laughing. SANTA!!! I KNOW HIM!!!

It takes special men to dress up like this. Between the Flyers lockerroom celebration dance, all the universe talk, Lundqvist playing guitar, and the Rangers Ugly Sweater party, S & I officially no longer hate these teams. In fact, we may just *gulp* ….love….them. I know, I know…this is so against the rules (especially the Flyers) but really, we cant help it. They are just too stinkin’ cute.

Best. Day. Ever.

13 12 2011

Ok so as you all know (because we’ve only mentioned it about a ZILLION times on here) tomorrow starts the 24/7 Flyers/Rangers: Road to the Winter Classic series on HBO at 10pm.

For those who have no idea what I’m talking about and haven’t seen last seasons Penguins/Capitals: Road to the Winter Classic…just take my word for it–pop some popcorn, crack open the wine (or beer….or liquor–pick your poison) and enjoy! And if you don’t have HBO– I suggest calling up your cable provider and getting it.  Suck it up for a few months & pay for it. I promise…this will be worth it.

Anyway, onto another piece of good news. The NHL has announced a new ‘series’ that will begin tomorrow at 6:30 on Versus. NHL 36 — their first star (of ten)?? Patrick. Kane. It will follow him in a ‘day in the life’ kind of way– and if I know anything about PKane…this should be exciting. Just think. A whole 36 hours with him. He’s bound to cause trouble be a role model…

Now please. Almost everyone has Versus– so there is no excuse for not being able to watch this one. And for all you people on the West Coast who may not get home in time– I think you’re becoming *ill*. Time to call those bosses and use up one of those sick/personal/vacation days that you need to eat up by the end of the year. Use it or lose it, people. This is important.

All Access Pass

9 12 2011

Welp, sounds like the Pittsburgh Penguins recieved all of our letters. While  you all were enjoying your summer vacation on lakes, at the beach, on vacations– S & I had crayons and markers scattered across our floors writing colorful notes to Pittsburgh asking for another “all access pass” but this time into the 2011-2012 season. Kinda like HBO–minus the other team. Literally 24/7 Penguins. We made sure to seal every note with a kiss–nice bright red lipstick–before sticking it in the mail for good luck.

Ok. So not really.

But we couldn’t be happier about what we just found out. It’s been busy around the Hockey’s Finest offices. S is pretty much on a plane 24/7….and I am preparing for the holidays. Big family = lots of parties. Phew. So excuse us for being a little late to announce this news.

Prepare yourself, Pens fans.

can we be in the room ?

Anyway, the Pittsburgh Penguins have released Episode 1 of 10 today. It’s basically an All Access Pass (just what S & I asked for) into this season. From Training Camp, games, practices, appearances, all the way to “personal experiences” of Pens players. Sound good? We like. [CLICK HERE] to watch.

Let me tell you. The first episode…is a winner.

Movember? WINNER!
