New Wallpaper for You.

11 07 2012

ESPN. Us hockey fans love to hate you. But it’s a time like RIGHT NOW that we absolutely frickin’ love you. Like — want to take you out to dinner, buy you the most expensive entree, the most expensive bottle of wine, and then take you back to our places for dessert — kind of love.

As if we needed more proof that he was a hottie.

Way too deliver yet again, ESPN. Keep the hockey players in the mix. We like.

Maybe some Max Talbot, Jonathan Toews, Kris Letang, Zach Parise, Chris Higgins in the future? Just throwin’ that out there.

Now, for your off season dose of hockey porn. Ladies, this picture comes with VIDEO!!!

Holy moly. I’m going to go take a cold shower now. Magic Mike last week and now a naked Brad Richards…my body can’t take much more of this torture.

Enjoy ;) We know  we will!

S, this is for you…

11 07 2012

…because I love you. And you should love me for it. :)

From yesterday’s Alumni game in Thunder Bay:

2 Staal’s on one bench! GASP!

Hey — I wonder how many “too many Staal’s on ice” penalties we will have next season. I have to admit…I would giggle for a little bit.

He may be married…but he’s still hot.

S, I love you. Once I find the link to the interview he did today — I’ll be sure to stop your heart with that too :) Since your family is with you this week, I dont mind causing bodily harm. They’ll rush you to the hospital in time.

XOXOXO

PS — when I was tagging this post, I totally typed in Pittsburgh Penguins until I realized he’s no longer with the Pens. That kinda hurt a bit…I wont lie… *sniff sniff*

UPDATE: I dont know who you are– but you’re brilliant:

Oh Hai, Pretti Boi…

2 07 2012

Ummm…

…I’m drooling. All over my computer.

I just spent the entire weekend by the water and saw NOTHING like this. N.O.T.H.I.N.G.

Life is just not fair.

Tyler. Freakin. Seguin.

I do have to say — compared to his friends…he looks like a vampire. Someone please get this boy some tanning oil.

**GOD BLESS THE OFF SEASON**

Hilarity…Twitter Style

29 06 2012

I’m such a huge fan of Twitter, not only because it allows me to waste time when I should be productive, but it also gives us insight into some wonderful hockey players and their personalities.  They interact with each other, outside of their teammates, and give the fans something to laugh at.

Some of my personal favorites are (obviously) Paul Bissonnette, who tweets out little gems like this one:

A little gross?  Maybe, but that’s Biz for you.  He’s got an awesome personality for hockey, and I personally love it!

Another guy is lesser known, except to people who root for the Blackhawks.  Jimmy Hayes (formerly of Boston College), along with Andrew Shaw, was one rookie that really stepped up this season when the BHawks needed him the most.  Now that the season is over, he has become a frequent tweeter.  He has a quieter disposition in the locker room, but even the Blackhawks Organization noticed that his tweets were worthy of a whole story on their website.  So check it out!

Who are your favorite tweeters?  Let us know, and hopefully later in the week we’ll have a Top 5 Tweeters post for ya!

Happy Father’s Day!

17 06 2012

Happy Father’s Day to all the hockey playing dads out there!  Here’s a little gem from one of our favorites here at HF sharing the day’s festivities with everyone:

Such a standard Biz tweet.  Keep an eye out for more gems this summer, he’s one of the good ones.

Here’s just another example of two things I love coming together:  ice hockey and Jimmy Kimmel.  You’re welcome.

You would think I would learn…

9 06 2012

Every year I say “OMG! It’s the F1 in Montreal this weekend! WHY AM I NOT THERE?!”

And you want to know why I want to go so bad?

…No…not because I LOVE watching cars race (although, F1 is SICK) but because of this…

pure perfection.

Again, I’m missing it.

So right now, I’m putting it in writing.

NEXT YEAR — I will go to the F1 weekend in Montreal. It’s set in stone. I’m going. Who’s in?

PS — A little joke for your Saturday afternoon … maybe it’ll relieve your Game 7 anxiety.
